How Indonesia is Spicing-Up the World - Starting with San Francisco
Watch the Video
Indonesia is the world’s fourth-largest country, an island nation with an enormous range of cultural influences, a palate of local flavors intermarried with Arab, Indian, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, and English influences. The result is a cuisine of remarkable complexity and intense flavors.
Despite the wonderful range of flavors represented by Indonesian cuisine, the Bay Area has very few sources of Indonesian food - only a few food trucks offer this remarkable culinary experience.
SFAsia, and the Consulate General of Indonesia will join together to present a fun and informative webinar on how the Indonesian government is supporting thousands of restaurants from Indonesia to expand their offerings around the world, including here in San Francisco Bay Area.
This webinar will also highlight opportunities for the food & beverage industry in San Francisco and will include representatives from the San Francisco Office of Small Business to highlight both the support and permitting processes needed to open a restaurant in the city. We will also include opportunities to hear what companies already in San Francisco have experienced during their processes of expansion.
